Red fort agra: The program of Vishwadaya Week (19 - 25 November, 2022) was inaugurated by the Archaeological Survey of India and Agra Circle, in the Red Fort.
The ASI was host an event at the Diwan-e-Aam complex of the Agra Fort. The Fatehpur Sikri Panch Mahal complex will host the concluding ceremony. Throughout the week, there was a cleanliness campaign, sketching and painting contests, and quiz shows.
This function was organized in collaboration with the Department of History and Culture of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University. On this occasion, the students of the Department of History and Culture of the University, St. Andrew's School, Government Inter College, and Photographers Association Agra, officers and employees of the Archaeological Survey of India participated.
Professor Sugam Anand, former Vice-Chancellor of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University, was the chief guest, Professor B. D. Shukla, Head of the Department of History and Culture of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University, was the special guest, Dr. Rajkumar Patel, Superintending Archaeologist of the Archaeological Survey of India, Gave welcome address in the program and gave his feedback on our role in the conservation of monuments.
Debate and quiz competitions were also organized in the programme, in which students participated with great enthusiasm. The main objective of the program was to motivate tourists and students to participate in the conservation and promotion of heritage.
Professor Sugam Anand inspired the students to participate in the maintenance of the heritage and asked them to fulfill their responsibility towards the heritage.
Professor B. D. Shukla ji asked the students to fully cooperate in preserving the monument and highlighted the importance of monuments in the field of tourism and advised them to explore the possibility of employment in this field and give them full enthusiasm.
Advised to keep trying in this direction. The program ended with the hope of moving forward in this direction.
